I make paintings for sensitive souls. I want my art to remind people that their open hearts are their strength, even when the world breaks them.
I started to paint again seriously during the pandemic. I was alone in my house, lonely as hell, and sometimes feeling like I was losing my mind. The people I painted gave me comfort and solace, but even more than that, I was painting away the pain that was in my heart.
My figures are often imaginary, woven through with a story or caught at a moment of vulnerability. I try to capture humanity, with it’s open heart, it’s compassion, and it’s resilience.
